I bet you didn’t know this!

People’s attitudes to relationships could be given away by just the look of their face, it has been claimed - with men and women often after the opposite.

Men and women want different things from relationships? I get ya, so what next?

Researchers said men generally preferred women they perceive are open to short-term sexual relationships, with women after longer-term matches.

Stereotype? Where are the radical feminists - surely they should be saying it’s a woman’s right to have short-term shagfests as much as any man! OPPRESSION!

Dr Ben Jones, of the University of Aberdeen’s Face Research Lab, said: “Lots of previous studies have shown that people can judge a lot about a person from their face, including things like health and even some personality traits like introversion.

Dr Jones - who the feck is paying for this research? I could have told you all this for free!

There was a similar story a year or so ago that basically said that women want manly men to impregnate them, and feminine men to raise the kids. That’s a pretty crappy deal for the feminine male, raising and providing for the kid while the woman goes out and has sex with someone else.

Will, Thanks for the warm welcome! I have alot to find out about WordPress on how things work, navigating my way around and the like. I’m sure I will have plenty of questions ranging from operation and navigation to design haha.

    Regards,

Will, geez, I don’t know what it is about feminism and you but every time I come here that word pops up. :)

I just never think about it. Far from the heart I guess. Now you have that word in the back of my head, so I started doing some reading. Wondering okay, is everyone else talking about this too? Am I the only one who isn’t?

I have different thoughts on the subject. And I was going to write about it. But then I thought, since this subject interests you, maybe you should start a post and ask all the men and women here at wordpress what they think about it in today’s world and maybe have a few questions we could answer too. I’ll spread the word with whoever I know here, which isn’t a whole lot…..

It might be fun….or it might turn into a mini-war LOL

    Just a thought….

As for the article…ya what a waste of money. You know, it got me thinking about something I heard, and shamefully I think it’s only too true:

When people come on to someone, it’s only a compliment if you are attracted to the person, it’s harassment if you aren’t.

Feminism of old was about the fairness and equality of women and men. What you have today is basically a hate men brigade.

I agree with the fairness and equality - I always have, but when you dislike me because of an accident of birth - I kinda get my knickers in a twist over it.

But, as you have asked I will do a bit of research and post plus a few questions. :]

When people come on to someone, it’s only a compliment if you are attracted to the person, it’s harassment if you aren’t.

    I totally agree!

Yeah, like my female coworker told me before we fooled around “it’s only sexual harassment if you aren’t attracted”. I told her I was worried about getting into trouble. It’s also like the difference about “creepiness” and “confidence” with men approaching woman. Two guys can say and do the same exact thing, but the less attractive one will be “creepy” and the better looking one will be “confident”

Hehhe, I read an unintentional, or perhaps intentional funny about feminists and how they rate the attractiveness of female body parts less stringently than non feminists. As a male, straight male, I never rate the attractiveness of men’s body parts. In fact, they aren’t “Attractive” to me at all. A slip up? And admission? What is this?

Apparently it’s from a British study but I have been unable to locate it. The main article will be released on Tuesday.
