Today is England’s patron saints day - not as famous as the Irish day, but still. I am English and would like to wish you all a very good day!

Hmmm, John - methinks that isn’t exactly true.

Happy St. George’s Day!
So, completely off the topic, but this reminds me of a story. I know how much pride there is for country in Great Britain.
My buddy Duncan told me about a time he was driving in a nearby town called Folsom. On the wall of the “London Pub” on E. Bidwell, they have the Union Jack painted.
Well, Duncan, doing as any good englishman would do, had to go in an give the owner a good scolding for having the flag painted upside down! (Which, of course, is such a subtle change that none of us Americans noticed it for years!)
The owner got a little defensive and refused to admit fault, but I swear on my life, that flag was repainted a week later!

LOL - well, with the Union flag upside down it means that ‘the ship’ is in distress.
So, even if the guy didn’t realise it - he was asking for help.
You would be amazed at how many Union flags (Jack) I have seen upside down. I mention it every time - even stopping and turning around to say something - after all, if they want to bring bad luck onto them selves I shouldn’t care - but me being me, I do.

Lol! Damn right! Americans call themselves patriotic when they put magnetic ribbons on the backs of their cars, but they have nothing on the British!
