I love this.
All men should have their own space - well women, too. But this is about men - so ner-ner!
A man needs his cave - we always have, but somewhere along the line, probably in the 60’s someone came up with the idea that we don’t, well they were wrong.
There are rules to this cave, and those rules change with each one, if the men can accept those rules, why can’t everyone else?
I will post my rules as soon as the wife has OKed them! ![]()

I think I would go crazy if I ever lived with someone. Just having a girlfriend spend over several nights was enough to drive me crazy. I would definetely have to get a boat or something just to escape.

We both have a cave. After so many years of marriage, I think they should be mandatory.
Mine has tools and crafts and his looks like Sals.

Well at least the article mentioned women this time… Although I cringe that the best example of a womans personal space they could find was full of sewing and vanities. A lot of women like gaming and ridiculously large TVs and hanging posters of bands/ha;f-naked guys all over the place. You’re kidding yourselves if you think needing a special place to oneself is a thing unique to men.
Hook me up with a $3k gaming rig, an entertainment system, and enough movies to keep me going for a decade and I’ll be happy. You can keep the sewing.

With us, the man has the attic, I have about the same amount of space downstairs, we share living room and kitchen. I love having a lot of time NOT together… so that we begin to yearn for one another . If we’re together too much , I feel suffocated… he has to leave to get space from me?
No… he goes to his space right here at home, I have my space … we visit one another…. this has been going on for well over ten years. Our love is deeper and sweeter than ever !

The reason there aren’t women caves is because, … … the woman cave is pretty much the entire rest of the house.
