W Virginia will be a landslide for Clinton and no one is disputing that.
End of story.
Kentucky - just about the same.
Obama is ahead in one story and two behind in another in the super-delegate race.
All this means is that the Clinton campaign gets more cash from her - because that campaign is broke and the race goes on another three weeks or so.
Obama is still the winner.

Democrats need to win W Virginia to be able to win against McCain in November and guess what, Hillary will have all those needed states in her pocket, and Obama will lose many of Hillary’s supporters. Oh Well!

And the Democratic nominee will need Oregon and Wisconsin and Illinois and etc etc.and will benefit by the incredible number of newly registered Democratic voters who came to participate because of Obama. Obama will of course, having the majority of pledged delegates and the majority of superdelegates will win the nomination. He has the majority of the popular vote as well. Those who find fault with the winner of all these being considered the winner …and the elected choice being more electable than their candidate who lost in all categories, need to reconsider. The American election is supposed to be about who wins legitimately at the polls. To pick a nominee who hasnt won in any of those categories is to deny democracy as a system.

W Virginia is the old , very old democratic party. It represents the past, not the future: anti gay, anti femimist ( hillary take note), anti obortion-stuck in the mud and firmly in the republican camp. Hillary and her husband are the past . The future is the blacks, the Hispanics, stem cell research, pro choice and equal rights. Hillary should run with mcCain. They deserve each other. Can’t you see it? Do you not see the Clintons for whom they really are in life?

The future is hopefully all voters, Mr. Wyndels. Hillary is for stem cell research as well as wanting to embrace research into alternative energy. It’s about time that someone invested in research regarding energy as well as in ways of running with less of it. We are being left in the dust with LEDs and the like which use a small fraction of the energy of even our most energy efficient light bulbs.
If the future is nuclear disarmament (right, we’re all going to eliminate a known technology and sit around singing kumbaya because darn it, it just feels right!), it will be a very short future indeed.
P.S.- If you mean by feminism, the annoying habit of females like myself of insisting that we not be passed over for promotion in favor of a much less qualified male. That we are all a bit sick of being second class citizens due to having a functioning uterius, I’d say that it’s alive and well. No-one is interested in burning bras or stupid stuff like that but we make up over 50% of the population, we work, and we vote!

Will it matter? Well, from the bottom of my heart and from the rest of West Virginia, I would like to thank you for demeaning my thoughts and opinions. I’m so glad that we allow only a portion of the United States to make our decisions for us. (And if you’d like to know what that is, it’s the elitist theory that our founding fathers shot down when this country first came into being.)
I have been reading comments on cnn.com about how we’re all inbred and racist and of course Hillary would win this state because we’re stupid. Well, both my parents and both of my older sisters hold multiple masters degrees and when it comes to standardized testing I score in the 98 percentile, I am anything but stupid.
And for those of you intelligent people who think that all of us are racist, you might want to check your history. June 20th, 1863 West Virginia broke away from Virginia and the Confederate States of America to re-join the Union. We are the only state that was created during the Civil War and it was becuase of our anti-slavery beliefs.
As for inbreeding, I can assure you that my father is not also my uncle.
We’re called stupid because we have people who will do the “menial” jobs that you so-called intellectuals won’t do. I am so sick of this entire state being put down because we have a lot of hard working people who keep this country running.
I’m sick of being stereotyped. There are stupid, racist, predjudice people all over this country. We didn’t round them up and say, “Well, looks like ya’all are gonna like West Virginia.” No.
And another little history lesson, ummm…. the popular vote is not how you get elected in this country. Look at the 2004 election which, by the way, is what the McCain-Obama race is being compared to. Gee, how did that end up? We have an electoral college which, if we counted the states as all or nothing like the November election (the one that REALLY counts), Hillary would have won by now. She has the states that you have to carry in order to win an election. (Oh, and no democrat has won an election since 1916 without carrying West Virginia, but that doesn’t matter.)
So before some of you start spouting off about things you know nothing about, you might want to do your homework so that a highschool student doesn’t have to come back and school you again. You just make all Obama supporters look like loud-mouthed imbeciles.
