You take a Turkey and…
No, not really. I can cook - but I couldn’t write a recipe if my life depended on it - I am one of those cooks who add stuff and if it tastes good - eat it.
Turkey, the country, has decided to ban smoking in public.
Now, I am a smoker - I wish I wasn’t and I wish for the day when they discover a pill that will cure me of my addiction. I would take it in a nanosecond!
But Turkey!? I like Turkey, I like the Turkish people. But to ban smoking in Turkey is, well, like - erm, almost impossible.
Taxi driver Huseyin Erdogan, who is not related to the prime minister, says he does not think the bans will help him get off cigarettes.
“I don’t know how much of a deterrent these laws will be,” he said. “I cannot quit smoking, I’ll only quit when I go to my grave. I have to smoke.”
I understand exactly how he feels!

I can cure you with my hypnotic eyes.
That’ll be £456.99, please.

Me, too… though I’d probably have to put my prices up sharpish if Turkey did impose the ban. Supply and demand, right?
